Why work with a Chesapeake wrap shop
When a work vehicle is in the shop, it isn't making money. TGD wraps is at 3936 Holland Blvd, Unit J, Chesapeake, VA 23323. Businesses in Greenbrier, Great Bridge, Western Branch, Deep Creek and South Norfolk can drop off a van or truck and pick it up without crossing the water. Crews coming in from I-64, I-464 or US-17 can reach us easily on the way to or from a job.
We keep the whole job in-house:
- Design. Every wrap is designed at our shop, so we can work with you directly on fitment, color accuracy and brand consistency.
- Print. Everything is printed under one roof, which means faster turnaround and consistent quality.
- Install. Our installers have 10+ years of experience and 3M and Avery Dennison certifications. Owner and US Navy veteran Jason Scalzitti is a 3M Preferred installer and an Avery Dennison Certified installer.
Our 4,500 sq ft install bay is heated and cooled all year and has 12 ft doors, so box trucks and fleet vans fit inside.
Fleet and commercial wraps for Chesapeake businesses
Your trucks already drive across Chesapeake every day. A wrap puts your brand in front of everyone who sees them, around the clock, for a one-time cost.
Full wraps
Full coverage turns a van, box truck or pickup into a moving billboard. It's the most visible option.
Partial wraps
Graphics on the doors, hood or side panels that blend into the paint. You get more impact than lettering at a lower cost than a full wrap.
Vehicle lettering
Your company name, phone number and logo, applied cleanly. It's a low-cost way to brand service trucks and smaller fleets.
Consistent branding across your fleet
Whether you have one truck or a whole fleet, we keep your colors, logo and layout the same on every vehicle, from pickups to box trucks, so customers recognize your brand at a glance.
Other services we offer
- Color change wraps: hundreds of colors and finishes, removable, and they protect factory paint.
- Custom wraps: fully custom printed designs for personal or business vehicles.
- Boat wraps: protection from sun, salt and scratches, plus a fresh look on the water.
- Wall wraps: branded office, lobby and retail walls.
- Perforated window graphics, exterior signs and decals, bulk stickers, window tint, ceramic coating and large-format printing.
From quote to install: how it works
- Request a quote. Bring your vehicle to the shop, or send a quote request with photos of each vehicle. We don't give quotes over the phone, because paint condition, vinyl choice and vehicle size all change the price.
- Design. Our in-house designer builds your layout and revises it with you until every detail is right.
- Print. Your graphics are printed in our shop.
- Install. Our certified installers apply the wrap in our climate-controlled bay. Commercial vehicles usually take 2 to 3 days.
- Back on the road. Your vehicle leaves covered by our 2-year warranty on installation and workmanship. See the warranty details.
“The staff was very pleasant to talk with and followed up with me after a couple weeks when I said I would be ready to get moving on the project. I was able to drop it off to get worked in and it was done in a day and a half. The job was even better than expected, it looks like it is a paint job, followed the lines of the truck perfectly. Highly recommend these folks for any job where a wrap is the preferred method of getting a new look.”

Caring for your wrap
How you care for a wrap affects how long it lasts. With good care, wraps typically last 3 to 5 years, and sometimes longer.
- Hand wash with wrap-safe cleaners. Skip automatic car washes, because they raise the risk of damage.
- Wait at least 72 hours after install before the first wash, as 3M advises.
- If you have to pressure wash, use a wide 40° tip, keep the nozzle at least 12 inches away, and don't aim at the edges. Follow the film maker's pressure and temperature limits.
- Wipe off fuel spills right away.
- Ceramic coating adds protection. Ask us about it.
